There are one time when you need to move your own domain that is self hosted by WordPress into another website hosting. All you have to do backup everything, export all your blogpost. But, dont forget to export and backup also all your links on your WordPress blogroll. You can do it manually by copy and all your link and post it into notepad, but it is a tedious work if you have more than 20 blogroll links.

Here is the way you can backup all your blogroll links

1. Just go to your browser and type your domain name together with this: wp-links-opml.php

for example. http://www.dilsonblog.com/wp-links-opml.php

2. On your browser, click on “File > Save Page as” and click on save button

3. Now, if you are moved into your new web hosting, you can import your WordPress Blogroll links by Login into your WordPress Administrator Panel and click on “Tools > Import” and select the backup file of your Blogroll links
import

As of now, I have a hundred of blogs that I am maintaining, and I am always using the above procedure to backup all the links at blogroll of my WordPress blogs.
